4. It's his 1975 speech as Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations condemning the UN adoption of "Zionism is Racism" resolution, on November 10th
5. In 1938, on the same day, the Kristallnacht, the Night of Shattered Glass, took place in Germany.
The resolution was adopted and remained in place until it was revoked in 1991, at that point Herzog was Israel’s sixth president
6. Today is the eve of Holocaust remembrance day
My late mom drew this exceptional painting.
